Dear IAHE Members and Supporters,

As we wrap up another year of dedication to the cause of home education, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the accomplishments of the Indiana Association of Home Educators (IAHE) over the past year. We are immensely proud of the progress we’ve made and the impact we’ve had on the homeschooling community. Here are some highlights of our achievements:

  • Celebrating our 40th Anniversary: We were able to bring together founders and supporters this summer as we celebrated 40 years of IAHE. We had a wonderful banquet featuring Heidi St. John. We celebrated the past and looked forward to an amazing future.
  • Successful Annual Conference: Our 2023 Annual Conference was a resounding success, bringing together hundreds of homeschooling families from across Indiana. We featured renowned speakers, workshops, and a diverse exhibit hall with resources to support home education. It was a fantastic opportunity for networking and sharing knowledge.
  • Legislative Advocacy: IAHE has been active in advocating for homeschooling rights and protections in the state. We worked closely with lawmakers and other organizations to ensure that homeschoolers’ interests were represented and safeguarded. Your support and involvement in our legislative initiatives have been instrumental in our progress.
  • Outreach and Support: Throughout the year, we’ve continued to offer various resources and support to our members. Our website and social media channels are now more informative and engaging than ever, serving as valuable sources of information and connection for homeschooling families.
  • New Educational Resources: We’ve expanded our collection of educational resources, including ebooks, webinars, and free downloadables. Our team has been dedicated to ensuring that Indiana homeschoolers have access to the best tools and information.
  • Community Building: We have also invested in strengthening the sense of community among homeschooling families. Our regional meetups, special interest groups, and online forums have provided opportunities for families to connect, share experiences, and offer mutual support.

These are just a few of the many accomplishments we’ve achieved over the past year. None of this would have been possible without the active involvement and financial support of our members, volunteers, and general community. We are truly grateful for your dedication to the homeschooling cause and your trust in IAHE.

We look forward to continuing to work together to empower and support Indiana homeschooling families in the coming year. Thank you for being a part of our mission, and please keep an eye out for exciting ways you can support us as the year closes.
