Does your teen want to learn how to take amazing photos with their camera or phone? This photography class is for beginning photographers ages 14-18, and is more hands-on and in-depth than a typical speaking workshop. Sign your teen up for four interactive classroom sessions to learn practical photography skills during the conference.
There will be four, 50-60min sessions total, two on Friday and two on Saturday. Students will be given photo assignments to fulfill between sessions, leaving plenty of time to spend with family or in other workshops.
Class topics:
- Taking the Artistic Approach
- All About Lighting in Photography
- Tips on Composing, Organizing & Editing Your Photos
- Photo critique of photos taken by participants (Conclusion)
What to bring:
- Any camera (or phone with a camera)
- A method for taking notes
- A flashlight (not on your phone)
Bio
James Staddon is a professional photographer from West Virginia with a background in event, wedding, portrait, and landscape photography. He’s also a homeschool graduate who enjoys helping others learn how to use their equipment so they can take great pictures. Through teaching and speaking, James loves to see inspiration planted, nurtured, and expressed for the glory of God in the work of other photographers.
