Crime Writing Workshop
You’re Killing Me: How to Commit Crimes (And Then Get Caught)
Monday, May 5, 10-11:30am EDT, includes Q&A at end
Perfect for 6th - 12th graders
Join Amanda Trumpower for an exciting and informative workshop. From plotting a crime to slapping on the handcuffs, we’ll talk about the basics of writing mystery and crime fiction. Plus, we’ll talk about the One Sacred Rule of mystery fiction that you absolutely must follow … or risk dire consequences!
Please note: We will be discussing murder in a non-graphic, clinical way. We will not be dwelling on blood and guts but on the opportunities, motives, and logistical requirements involved in committing the crime.
Appropriate for 6th grade and up.
For this one-time workshop, we're offering a special rate of $5/family for IAHE Premium & Supporting Members and $15/family for non-members.
