Description
In this workshop, Angela encourages parents to heed the advice of Miss Charlotte Mason about making a child’s education fit that unique child. For a child’s education to fit them, it is important that it serves them. For them to be served by their education, that child needs to take it personally and to understand that it is for their own future that they study and learn. Today’s student’s fitting education is not going to look like that of a Victorian Age student’s education; instead, it will be an education that builds the child’s ability to face the world as it is now, with a certainty that God has chosen them for such a time as this. A fitting education is not necessarily one that is always considered to be fun and met with huge smiles of childish appreciation; instead, it will prepare the next generation of God’s people to be salt and light – a city on a hill.
