If you know of anyone who is considering homeschooling, just starting their homeschool journey, or looking to connect with other homeschoolers, our IAHE Region Reps and many homeschool group leaders are hosting local Meet-ups and 101 Meetings over the summer. Please check our calendar for the locations in your region.
Maybe you are wondering, “What is a Meet up or 101?”
Homeschool Meet-Ups are gatherings at a park or some fun place. It a social event to meet other homeschool families in your region. It is for all homeschool families and those thinking about homeschooling. Nothing formal other than introducing yourself and socializing!
101 Meetings are informational meetings for brand new and perspective new homeschool families. The basics of homeschooling, requirements, and general information is covered, as well as a time for questions. These are hosted by local homeschool groups or our Regional Reps at churches, community buildings, libraries, or in a home.
