Discover Your Path – Connect with representatives from renowned colleges, universities, and vocational programs eager to support your student’s unique educational journey.

Forge Connections – Network with various organizations, gaining insights into exciting career opportunities and pathways.

Empower Your Future – Consider opportunities in the trades or apprenticeships to add valuable skills, equipping your student with tools and experience to thrive in the real world.

Along with an exhibit full of military, trades, colleges, and leadership and internship opportunities, we have three workshops planned for you and your teen as well.

5:00-5:30 – Transcripts That Set Your Student Apart

Employers, colleges, apprenticeships, and trade organizations are looking for students who stand out. With intentional planning, you can craft an education—and a transcript—that highlights your student’s strengths, skills, and unique experiences, helping them rise to the top of the stack. In this workshop, we’ll discuss the basic components of an excellent transcript and then explore additions and upgrades that will set your student apart.

5:45-6:15 – Christian Worldview: A Critical Need for This Generation

Christian teens today face a confusing and hostile culture. How can they be equipped to stand? How can families help guide their students through the tumultuous waves of today’s world? A sound biblical Worldview is a central part of the answer. Join Fred Gahl as he shares his experience ministering to students as a Worldview Academy staff member and suggests ways that families can prepare their children to stand firm. Fred is a Worldview Academy alumnus, summer staffer, and a homeschool graduate.

6:30-7:00 – The Future of Work and Education: What Every Parent Needs to Know

Today’s teens face more opportunities than ever before. Parents often feel pressure to help their student choose between college or a career path right after high school, but the landscape has changed. From dual-credit programs to apprenticeships, trade certifications, and flexible hybrid options, families now have innovative ways to prepare their teens for the future. This workshop will explore current trends in higher education, the growing demand for skilled trades, and the rise of alternative pathways that blend academics with real-world experience. You’ll walk away with practical insight into how to guide your teen toward a future that saves time, reduces costs, and aligns with their strengths in today’s rapidly changing economy.
